Exhibition Overview: Step into the cosmos with Solaris, an extraordinary art exhibition that invites you to explore the mesmerizing beauty of the universe. From the radiant energy of the sun to the serene glow of the moon, and the mysterious beauty of distant galaxies, Solaris celebrates all things celestial.

Theme: The theme of Solaris centers on the awe-inspiring wonders of space. Artists are encouraged to draw inspiration from the galaxy, capturing the essence of stars, planets, nebulae, and the vast expanses of the cosmos. This exhibition aims to merge the realms of art and astronomy, creating a visual symphony that speaks to the grandeur and mystery of the universe.

Who Can Participate: Solaris is open to artists of all mediums and backgrounds. Whether you are a painter, sculptor, photographer, digital artist, or work with mixed media, we invite you to share your unique vision of the celestial.

Key Dates:

  • Proposal Submission Deadline: July 9th, 2024
  • Notification of Selection: July 16th, 2024
  • Final Submission Deadline: August 23rd, 2024
  • Artwork Delivery Deadline: August 29th, 2024
  • Exhibition Opening: September 12th, 2024
  • Exhibition Duration: September 12th - October 3rd 2024

Venue: The Solaris exhibition will be held at The D'Aguilar Art Foundation, a space dedicated to showcasing innovative and inspiring art. Located at 8A Virginia Street.

Submission Guidelines: Artists can submit up to three artworks that align with the theme of the exhibition. Submissions must be original works created by the artist and can include painting, drawing, sculpture, digital art, photography, mixed media, and installation art.

File Formats:

Digital images of artworks should be in JPEG or PNG format.

Each image should be medium to high-resolution (300 dpi) and no larger than 5 MB.

For 3D works, include multiple images from different angles.

Include the following information for each artwork:

Medium

Dimensions

Year of completion

Brief description (up to 150 words)

Provide a short bio (up to 100 words) and an artist statement (up to 200 words) explaining your work and its connection to the theme.
